Recent work is in two areas;
1. Investigation of the Propagation and Scattering of Ultrasound Waves in Biological Tissues. It includes activities commonly known as "tissue characterization," in that one of the goals is to extract information about tissue structure and function from the ultrasonic waves.
2. Study of Cardiovascular System Structure and Function through the Ultrasound Doppler Effect.
