"The Greater Philadelphia Bioinformatics Alliance (GPBA) Annual Research Retreat takes place November 12, 2009 in the Bossone Research Enterprise Center."

The GPBA Annual Research Retreat will be held Thursday, November 12, 2009, from 2 PM till 6 PM in the Atrium of the Bossone Research Enterprise Center, located at 31st and Market Streets.

The agenda is as follows:

2 PM – 4 PM         Graduate student presentations (ten minutes each)

4 PM – 5:30 PM   Presentations by Ramana Davuluri, Andrew Quong, Zoran
Obradovic, Lyle Ungar, and Kathy Wu

6 PM – 7.30 PM   Wine and Cheese Social

Graduate students who would like to present should directly contact Will
Dampier and register their name. The retreat is free of charge and is a
great medium for doctoral students to introduce themselves to bioinformatics researchers in the region.
