"The First Annual National Conference on Environmental Sampling for Bio-Threat Agents will take place Jan. 27-28, 2005 in Baltimore, MD."

The Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and the Technical Support Working Group are organizing the First Annual National Conference on Environmental Sampling for Bio-Threat Agents to create a forum for dialogue between government, industry, academia, and first responders to address critical issues in environmental sampling.

The conference consists of two days of presentations, discussions, and exhibits to identify gaps and define next steps for environmental sampling. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to address pertinent issues in environmental sampling with government, industry, academia, and first responders, as well as participate in sessions and discuss solutions to sampling challenges A reception, dinner, and roundtable discussion will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2005 from 7 - 10 p.m.
