Technology is creating new and exciting possibilities for the 47 million Americans living with disabilities. Explore ways in which technological innovations are enabling people to overcome barriers to achieve their goals and live full lives. The breadth of opportunities for applying technology to disability challenges are nearly limitless. The rate of innovation to increase mobility, enhance independence and maximize one's potential as a person, an employee, a student, an athlete and a family member are exploding. Brainstorm applications for technologies that you are developing today for use by people with disabilities.

Biosketch:
Gavin Kerr became the President and CEO of the Inglis Foundation in October, 2008. The Foundation works with people living with physical disabilities to create practical solutions to enable them to pursue their goals and live life to the fullest. Inglis' services include affordable and wheelchair-accessible housing, care management, community employment, adapted computing, specialty nursing care, an adult day program and the Drink-Aide(r) adaptive water bottle.

Gavin is a seasoned executive and values-based leader with a reputation for strategic insight and building high performance teams. In his rich career he has served as President and CEO of Mercy Health System, Executive Vice President and COO of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Chairman of Keystone Mercy Health Plan, President and CEO of AssetTRADE.com, Vice President of Planning and Organizational Effectiveness for University of Pennsylvania Health System, Director of Human Resources for PepsiCo, and Director of Marketing and Product Development for MONY Financial Services. His commitment to volunteer service and social equity is substantial beginning with his work in Kenya with the Peace Corps in 1979. Gavin currently serves as Co-founder of ConKerr Cancer, the Chairman of Pennsylvania Center for Adaptive Sports and Vice Chair of Alex's Lemonade Stands Foundation. He holds a Master of Divinity-Counseling from Princeton Theological Seminary and AB in Economics from Colgate University.
