Standards
Search for a standard using Techtreet or NSSN. Find the standard number. (Note: IEEE standards can be downloaded from the link IEEE Xplore.) For other standards, follow the steps below:


The standards database is a bibliographic standards database available only from Engineering Librarian–Jay Bhatt's office in the library. It covers over 600,000 worldwide standards. Over 250 major Standards issuing authorities are covered, from the US, Europe, the international bodies ISO and IEC to Japan and Australia. To obtain any ASTM or any other standards, please contact Jay Bhatt, Liaison Librarian for Engineering, Hagerty Library room 132, Phone: 215–895–1873. Email: bhattjj@drexel.edu

Medical Devices, Intellectual Property and Patents
This libguide will be useful for the students researching on medical devices but it can also be used by researchers, faculty members and other students needing information on patents and inventions.

Guide and Site tutorial on Knovel Data search option
Knovel provides electronic access to leading engineering reference handbooks, databases, and conference proceedings. Electronic books related to subject areas such as Project Management, Engineering Management, Biomedical Engineering and Science and Engineering can also be found.

To access knovel from the Library’s web site, go to Electronic Databases and then click on Knovel:Engineering & Scientific Online Reference.
