Search for a standard using Techtreet or NSSN. Find the standard number. (Note: IEEE standards can be downloaded from the link IEEE Xplore.) For other standards, follow the steps below:

The standards database is a bibliographic standards database available only from Engineering Librarian–Jay Bhatt's office in the library. It covers over 600,000 worldwide standards. Over 250 major Standards issuing authorities are covered, from the US, Europe, the international bodies ISO and IEC to Japan and Australia. Knovel provides electronic access to leading engineering reference handbooks, databases, and conference proceedings. Electronic books related to subject areas such as Project Management, Engineering Management, Biomedical Engineering and Science and Engineering can also be found.
