"Seunglee Kwon and Odelia Mualem Burstein won 2nd and 3rd place in the Graduate Poster Presentation category at the 31st Annual NEBE Conference."
Seunglee Kwon and Odelia Mualem Burstein, both graduate students in BIOMED (Advisor: Margaret Wheatley), won second and third place, respectively, out of approximately 80 participants in the graduate poster presentation category at the 31st Annual Northeast Bioengineering (NEBE) Conference, held at Stevens Institute of Technology on April 2 – 3, 2005.
Seunglee won for her poster titled "Development and Characterization of PLA Nano-dispersion as a Potential Ultrasound Contrast Agent for Cancer Site Imaging," and Odelia won for her poster titled “Hydrophobic Drug Loaded Contrast Agents: Effect on Enhancement." The School has had a winning participant each year that it has presented at the Annual NEBE Conference.
